Friendship has taken a new level these past 20 months! We have kept your cards and letters and reflect on them thanking God for each of you. Each of you have taken time to travel this journey with us, and we say thank you!
The depth of friendship you have shown has taught us much. Our thoughts are explained well in a podcast that our son Jeff has. His guest speaker spoke about how friends affected his family’s walk with cancer in a way that reflects our hearts, and we invite you to listen to his story (fast forward to the 13 minute mark for this info): https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/dadawesome/id1438475253?i=1000451667740
Ecclesiastes 4:9 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: 10 If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.
Please also pray for Chuck has caught a bad head cold. He needs to fight this off quickly so as to not wear down his immune system. We also have seen the need to pray for his mind and complete healing for small motor muscles have been challenged.
“I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice. My body rests in safety. You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.” Psalms 16:8-9, 11 NLT
This song is one called "Miracle" and we hope you will enjoy it. The same power that raised Jesus is available to us today! https://youtu.be/9GnR4bVS7fs
Together as a family we experienced worship and the Presence of God Sunday. God did come, He did save. Healing was proclaimed, now we pray against doubt, we pray against fear. We pray for peace. We continue to pray until Chuck is cancer free and pain free.
Psalm 103: 1-5: Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.
Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me.
He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!
1 Peter 1:3 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation...13 So prepare your minds for action and exercise self-control. Put all your hope in the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world. 14 So you must live as God’s obedient children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any better then. 15 But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy.
We felt God as we prayed and our family continues to strive together in our goal of holiness! Our God is faithful and we trust in Him! His mercies last forever and we thank Him for this visit.
