Charles R. “Chuck” Tomlin of Chester, NY formerly of Pearl River, NY, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Nyack Hospital. He was 73.
Chuck was a financial planner for J. P. Morgan Chase in NYC before his retirement.
Chuck was born November 18, 1944 in Queens, NY to Carl and Juanita Tomlin.
Locally, he was a member of the Pearl River Rotary, Jaycees of Pearl River and many other organizations. He will be remembered for being a mean sax player.
He is survived by his wife, Wini of Chester; children, Kristin Matthews of Bloomingburg, NY, Danielle (Thomas) Evans of East Northport, NY Jillian Tomlin of Yonkers, NY, James (Carol Ann) O’Hara of Bethesda, MD, Kathleen (Tim) Campbell of Monroe, NY and Thomas (Alexis) O’Hara of Naperville, IL. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, Nicole, Briann, Kieley, Megan, Molly, Tyler, Dana, Michael, Valerie, Morgan, Patrick and Caitlyn; sister, Sandra Tomlin and step-mother, Nellie Tomlin of Savannah, GA. He is predeceased by his sister, Shirley Young.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Thursday at St. Margaret R. C. Church, Pearl River. Visiting is Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
