Thank you for posting this, Amy, and sharing your struggles. I think of and pray for you all often. I can’t imagine the emotional roller coaster of heartache and God’s peace. You are amazing and inspiring in your vulnerability and honest sharing. I’m sure Chris looks on with pride and deep love. Sending prayers and hugs!!

Dear Amy, you are in my prayers daily. After the dust settles the reality sets in. I think that is the hardest part. Up to now you were caring for Chris and there wasn't much time to think of anything else. Now all you do is think. You are a strong beautiful woman of Christ and I pray you are comforted through this very hard time. The fog will pass, it always does. I think it is very normal to feel like you are in a fog. You are loved! Sharon

Dear Amy, thank you for sharing your heart of grief with us. I found it extra difficult when celebratory times crashed with my grief. The loss made the ocassion feel empty. That feeling you feel of being in a fog is real and very normal, as half of who you have been all these years has departed from you. Chris was a strong and vibrant presence in you and your family's life. Your new normal is yet to come. Grief is a lot of work we must process, and no one else can do it for you. The deeper the love you shared the deeper that grief will be. May you feel the presence of our Father surrounding you, and those who walk beside you. This is a part of your story ,and your children's, God will use in His time. In the mean time be easy on yourself and your expectations, rest in Him. He is sovereign and he so very much loves you. Love, Prayers, and Hugs, Ramona Keller

Amy and family,
Holding up your family in prayer. It seems that death is merciless on a grieving heart, but God is so merciful and is with you all through this journey every step of the way, each day at a time. May you continually feel his presence and comfort. With much love,
Candy

Amy and family,
What a beautiful day yesterday though the pain of missing Chris must have cast a shadow. It’s not okay right now but one day it will be. Tears are good, grief is hard but good and necessary in this broken world.
Praying that the Lifter of your head will carry you these days, nights and months as you adjust to Chris’ abscence. You are so loved.
