The flowering plants in our yard are largely on their own. Their beauty brings me joy and connects me to nature. Betsy and I will again miss our Adirondack vacation at The Hedges due to my medical limitations; being in the woods has always seemed beneficial to us. We are blessed with a quiet place to live in Charlotte.

I do miss being directly engaged at ACR and NCRS. I enjoyed working in Radiology, but after 38 years, it was appropriate to transition to retirement. Charlotte Radiology has successfully recruited a great new neuroradiology physician team, which is good to see.

My medical challenges have also re-focused me of the value and joys of life. Enjoy each day Geraldine!
