Another overdue update – last week I returned to Maine and was able to drive for the first time in two months. I’m wearing a brace that I had used last fall before my surgery. It fits inside my boot, so I’m able to depress the gas and brake pedals. It’s been liberating to be able to drive myself and to do everyday activities. I had my 8 week post-op checkback with my surgeon. He’s very pleased with my headway. I’ll continue PT over the next couple of months. I’m fortunately far enough along that I do not envision needing outside assistance, barring a setback. I appreciate your support and encouragement. Best wishes - Chris
