Wow, Christine. I am a little late in reading this, but so glad I did. I thought of you, the boys and your Mom at different points throughout the year. Sometimes reaching out, sometimes not. Always wondering how you were doing and wishing you well. There are places I became accustomed to running into Wade when he was alive. I use to look for him in those places months after he died, still thinking the guy on that bike is Wade, or that guy at the table...that’s Wade...Nope. Although my mind doesn’t try to trick me that way anymore, I still think of Wade (and whichever group of friends or family member was with) in all those places. I am glad that our minds do not forget everything, even though it is quite painful sometimes. So glad for all the love and support you have been given throughout this ordeal and so glad that you are both a warrior and a survivor and that you didn’t quit Putting one foot in front of the other on those tough days.I have so much admiration for what you have willed yourself through.
