Tina’s Story

Site created on July 9, 2018

Our mother has worked hard all her life. She has a fierce independent streak that is making her dementia challenging for those who care for her. We are working on getting her the support that she needs, but her habit has been to do things herself. The support of her large church and neighborhood community would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,

Journal entry by John Harrison

This has been the first day that Mom hasn't complained about, "not needing a babysitter."
When I visited yesterday, she was telling her care-giver a story and the woman was moved to tears by whatever story it was.
