I just want to give an update.  I am recovery nicely.  I started back to work this past week, next week back full time.  Even though my journey is not over, I am heading in the right direction.  I was very thankful to have caught my cancer in an early stage.  I have not needed chemo nor radiation.  I feel so blessed.

The past month or so I was able to survive with the help of my sister and then my aunt and cousin.  They all traveled across the Mississippi to take calf me.  This was the most invasive surgery I have ever had, and I had to give up control and allow people to take care of me.  Definitely was not easy.

I will have need another surgery or two this year.  I think about the saying-what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.  Boy this is true.

I thank everyone for all the thoughts, prayers and messages!

Christine's surgery went very well. Both Drs were very pleased with how smoothly things went. She is now in the recovery room. Thank you all. Your caring means a lot and is appreciated.

For the past few weeks I have been mentally preparing myself for a fight against breast cancer.  It has been a whirlwind of activities.  Tomorrow, with a great team of doctors and support system I will begin the first physical battle surgery.  Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.  😊
