Journal entry by Angela Handeland —
Tina is leaving the hospital to go into inpatient therapy at St. Benedicts Center in St Cloud today! The good news is that she'll be able to have her kids visit now. It's been more than a month since they've all been able to see each other. Her hard work is paying off!
She's been continuing her therapy to walk and increase her arm movements. She feeds and mostly dresses her top half so she just needs to keep focusing on the legs and fine tuning the rest. It seems quite likely she'll be home before Christmas.
At this time she doesn't want to risk any additional visitations outside of the kids. She does miss you all and is excited to see everyone when she's able to go home. Thank you so much for all the well wishes and prayers!
And especially thank you to the St. Cloud Hospital ICU and Inpatient Therapy staff. You are all angels on earth and we appreciate all you have done to care for Tina and all of the others that are there. Thank you for doing what you do!
