The world has lost a kind and beautiful soul. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Elise, and your family. I knew your mom before you were born and we served on a jury together when you and my daughter were around 12. It was such a joy to see her and get caught up with life and be touched by her kindness! Glad she is at peace, but sending prayers to you.

Elise and family I am just devastated for you all. Christie was a great friend, mentor, and one of my greatest heroes. I always strived to make her proud. She was one of the strongest people I ever knew. I hope you find comfort in knowing that your mom touched so many lives. She was so proud of you and the young woman you have become.
