My dear Uncle, thank you for this update. I'm sorry to hear you are dealing with so many after effects and I truly understand what you're going through. I can't tell you it gets better but i can tell you it gets easier. I love you and I'm one among the many that are so glad you are here to share with us, both the good and the bad. And true to you, you are sharing with dignity and grace, not anger, not bitterness, just honesty mixed with a concern for how others are perceived and treated. We should talk sometime when you want to compare notes. Few can understand where we've been.

Thank you for the update! I have been wondering how you are doing. I am glad to hear things are better and I pray that things will continue to improve! I have been reflecting a lot lately given my present circumstances and have drawn strength from your battle with COVID. I know that cancer and COVID are very different but there are still similar challenges. Continue pushing forward my friend!

Even if this isn't the news you want to share, I'm glad you're here to share it. :) Truer words haven't been spoken, especially at a time like this when it seems everyone is so anxious to "get back to normal" that it appears they forget some people will never be able to do that. I continue to think of you and hope for the best as you continue your journey. Take care!

Thank you, Chris, for sharing this and being so straightforward about what you continue to deal with. What comes through so beautifully is your strength and clarify about living with the facts of long-term COVID. I send you my positive energy and admiration.

No matter the journey you are here to tell about it and that my friend is the best news! I can’t relate personally, but have been a caregiver to someone who has suffered the long term affects of COVID with some days better than others. Just keep pushing and we are all grateful your still with us today!

Despite your long term problems, Chris, it is so good to hear that you are alive and doing so well. As a retired RN I understand how complex and pessimistic you appeared in the ICU. It is rare to see such a sick human being can heal and walk out of the hospital. We are so very happy for you. Being over 70 now and having my own health issue, its like my friends say, "It beats the hell out of the alternative!"
