Journal entry by Chrissy Sharp —
Dear Friends of Chrissy
It is with much excitement and heartfelt emotion that we are able to announce that Chrissys book has now been published. Chrissy’s readable memoir of her 46 years of involvement in forest activism and green politics will be launched/celebrated on Friday 18th November – on what would have been her 75th birthday.
Chrissy was a deep thinker whose ideas on practical conservation increasingly diverged from the dominant paradigm. Her book has important and considered things to say about two areas of topical interest in which she had great experience: the health of disturbed forest in a post-logging era, and ethics and effectiveness on the Parliamentary crossbench.
