Chris’s Story

Site created on February 20, 2018

On January 23, 2018, Chris was admitted into Maine Medical Center with severe abdominal pains. After scans and tests, they found a complete bowel obstruction in his colon.  He had his tumor removed and spent five days in the hospital healing.  The biopsy came back as cancerous.  We have received so much support and love from family and friends.  After further testing, Chris was diagnosed with Stage II  Non-Hodgkin's  Burkitt's Lymphoma Cancer. They also found a spot in his spleen.  It is aggressive cancer with an aggressive complex regiment. The good news is this form cancer is curable. During some of his IV therapy, he will have to be admitted to Maine Medical Center for days.  As Chris is starting his treatment, we ask you to keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers. May God Bless. #SAINTSTRONG

I thought I would send out a quick update on Chris! He is doing pretty well. He just had another scan to check his infection in his lungs andd it has cleared up so no more antifungal horse pills 😊😊 he is struggling with some bad neuropathy in his feet ( burning pins and needles feeling and pain). He is going to physical therapy 2x a week. This is helping with his strength and hopefully neuropathy.

He has a lot of anxiety but that is all normal for what he has been through.

As we reflect back on all that he has gone through we are more and more thankful for our army of supporters. When I say we would not have made it through without you all I am not exaggerating💚💚🍀🍀. So right now he is trying to enjoy some of summer with his family. Lots of sunblock of course. Trying to reflect on where God will lead us from here and just so thankful for all we have. I personally love to see him laughing and smiling.. there is no greater gift! Everything else will work it’s way out. You just have to have faith and believe #saintstrong #blessed #nooneeverfightsalone

Love you all💚
