Journal entry by Tim Baker —
Chris visited his neurologist this week and got more good news. He said everything looks good & new bone is growing around the cage. He said normal surgery patients would have 3-6 months recovery, but that Chris’s was much more extensive and he should expect 12 months of recover before the nerves damaged would heal properly, or at least to the point that they are going to heal. All in all the doctor said he felt good about Chris’s improvements and progress this far.
Every day Chris gets a little
more stronger & a little more mobile. He has bought some targets for his pellet rifle and is gearing up to get out for some target practice once this heat wave breaks. He’s already devising plans on how he can get into & out of the woods to go deer hunting this season.
Give thanks and glory to God!!
