Journal entry by Chrissy Marth

It will be 4 weeks tomorrow that I lost my wonderful Chris.
This journey for me has not yet been lonely. Family has been so wonderful with everyone Watching over us. Keeping us company and helping me with the really hard stuff.
I am in disbelief.
I had fallen asleep watching a show in my chair. (I call this snoozing) I woke up. I looked up at the clock and then said to my self “ I have half an hour more before Chris gets home ...) I can’t believe I had forgotten what happened.
We have a kitty named Smegol and he is reacting badly to Chris not being here. Not eating. Not playing. I took him to the vet and it turned out that he has physical issues happening.
The girls are doing okay. We have talks about Daddy everyday. They try not to make me cry. They ask me how I am doing all the time. Always looking out for me.
Quinn has come out of hiding. He tries to come out of his room to do more things with us. Which is a miracle in its self.
We will be okay. We are all trying to watch out for each other. We try to remember that we are all hurting and that we all hurt differently. We talk about him everyday.
I believe that all of the prayers are working. They are helping us get threw each day.
Thank you all for your prayers and for watching out for us. I had no idea people cared so much for us. I have no words to express the gratitude that I have.
We miss him everyday and that will never end. We are lost but are finding our way through this craziness.

Thank you all ... 💕
