I am writing to let you all know that I have made the difficult decision to postpone the celebration of life and memorial service for Chris until next year when hopefully this pandemic will be over. Grace Episcopal Church in Kilmarnock is still operating under restricted conditions and the parish administrator doesn’t see any change in time for his October 24th service. I just can’t see a service for Chris without the sacrement of Holy Communion, without being able to hug and embrace, and most importantly without music and singing. Therefore, the “unveiling” and dedication of the rocking chair that my sister and I arranged with Shrine Mont will be postponed until next October as well, when hopefully our world will be back to normal.
