I awoke today with a faint tug on my shoulder. It was you my man. You had reminded me about our steak dinner.! You whispered to me that you would be ready anytime, anyplace. You spoke to me and assured me that the table would be set - just the way you liked it - strong and enduring. You said the dining area had been changed and now we had a special guest GOD and he would reside over the bread to be shared and forever blessed for the girls , Anita and the generations to come . Chris you simply asked me to look over and watch your family , in that cool assuring voice which you always used with me.
Chris I asked what we could do to help as you entered life without anymore pain or suffering and you quietly responded be true!!!
Chris we live and respect all you stood for— a strong man, father , grandfather, friend and brother. You’ve allowed us to believe in life on a level of steady support and endurance. You’ve shown and mentored kindness and the will to never abandon or give up on the true gift in life -LOVE. 46 years - from curly hair and mini shorts to holding hands and gentle kisses you and ANITA were the true example of ONE HEART , ONE SOUL, ONE LIFE. To me my man that’s your lagacy!

I am so happy he was at home and had family and friends around at the end of life here on earth. My God bless his soul. May God watch over all of you as you go through this painful loss. Remember to lean on the Lord. Chris/dad/papa will always be with you in your hearts and will always be watching over you as you begin this next chapter of your lives. Love you all, Irene
