Cheryl’s Story

Site created on February 27, 2019

Awhile back, Cheryl started having headaches and falling quite often (without telling anyone.) Last Thursday she fell and couldn’t get up, she called 911 for help. The next day they did an MRI and found 3 tumors in her brain, and one in her lung. They removed the large tumor on Monday, because that was closer to the surface and pressing on the brain. Surgery went well, and the tumor was whole, self contained, which is what they always want to see. Cheryl slept most of yesterday, of course, and they took what they called a 24hr MRI, so we should know how that turned out later today. The Dr. and team from Roger Maris Cancer Center will be meeting as well, to decide how to continue treatment for the other tumors. Welcom  to our CaringBridge website.
