What a gift to be able to spend some time with your family! I am sorry you will not be returning to your teaching job. I know how it feels to leave a teaching job you love! I remember when I decided to leave MHT the staff gave me a beautiful cross that you had picked out. It was inscribed with the words "Don't worry about tomorrow--God is already there!" Dan and I will continue to keep you in our prayers for your healing and peace in your heart.

So glad you were able to enjoy time with the kids and grandkids. Sad that you won't be able to return to MHT. Know that you continue to be in my daily thoughts and prayers.

Glad you had a nice visit with kids. Sorry to hear the back has been bothering her. Back pain is not fun. Will keep praying that she will soon be healed from the beast and back pain will ease up. ❤️🙏🏻

I hope that having the family there was a boost to your spirits, Cheryl. Prayers for continued improvements for your back and total remission from the cancer. Be open to change! You never know what doors God will open for you next.

I understand in a small way physical limitations that take away our things that bring us joy and purpose. God was good and gave me Keegan to share music with! Enjoy his friendship and love for the piano. Also our times of laughter!! Snatch your joy where ever you can. We're not what we use to be but can still be used! So glad you have a loving and supportive family. And know your church family is loving on you and yours 🥰

I’m so sorry you can’t return to your classroom. I know you love to teach. This post came at just the right time for me. I go back to work tomorrow and have been dreading it and griping about it. Thank you for the wake up call that reminds me to be thankful for my job and a strong body that allows me to do the work I need to do. Continuing to pray for you.
