Hi Megan! Not sure if you remember me but I worked with your mom at Head Start. I sent you a message on FB, but we're not friends on there so you probably didn't get it. I'm going to friend request you and then you can read my message and please please please read it to your mom! Not sure if she'll remember me but I will always remember her and the awesome impact she had on my life! xoxo, Erin

Megan, thank you for the update...I’ve been thinking about you so much, but not wanting to bother you. I know your days are full, and you’ll be in touch when the time is right for you. I can only imagine the heartache you’ll always feel about the situation of the past 12 months or so...and even though you’ve lost something that can’t be regained, I’m feeling grateful for many reasons... one being Biden in power! Then your mum getting the COVID vaccine is definitely a Godsend. I think the hospice is very good news, despite it not being the “ perfect” situation you’d want for your mum. And who am I to really know the daily struggles you face? Reading between the lines, there are more positives, than negatives. You’ve travelled a road fraught with obstacles, resistance, confusion, distrust and fear, but you’ve never given up. I believe Everyone’s prayers and faith have reminded you ( and us) that God has not abandoned you, Megan, nor your mum, and our precious Cheri. I hope you will begin to experience more respite for yourself in the next few months, both mentally, physically and socially. From my experience as a carer for my mum, I ask you to ensure that either daily, or weekly, you make time and effort to nurture yourself! You must absolutely take care of yourself too. As a mother, I appreciate my family’s love and support, but I would not have peace if I thought they had compromised their own health for me. Ok, Megan? We love , admire and respect you. Nancy and Rod.🥰

I remember, twice, it (hospice) being a relief to know my loved one doesn't have to do more than enjoy being cared for. No more push-push-push with physical therapy. Happy for all that you have found such a nice home for her. Isn't it a blessing to know that, when hospice eventually ends, her life truly begins with her Lord and Savior! Please share mailing address. Love, her/your cousin, Marlene

Megan, I am both sorry and happy to hear your news. Happy because you can see her and she can see you and her beloved dog —not to mention her Starbucks! I remember your dad gave her $100 Starbucks gift card and that was , to my mind , the best gift ever. Carolyn frequently reminds me of things especially Thanksgiving that she was able to share with you. Carolyn was just planning to make a Valentine gift for her so we’ll get that in the mail ASAP. Prayers and blessings for y’all (as we say in Texas). ♥️💕 Donna and Carolyn

So much love to you Megan. I have walked your road as well twice this past year and have deep empathy and care for where you are in this journey. Please know I am available to you anytime. Could you message me your moms address? I would love to send her a card.
