3.20.21 FB post: Hi friends, thanks for the positive vibes since my post last week. It’s now FB official: I have Non-hodgkins Lymphoma (NHL)cancer; subtype Double Hit Hybrid lymphoma.
It's apparently a very aggressive cancer and therefore needs very aggressive treatment.
I will quite literally be in the hospital for almost daily chemo treatments over the next 3-4 months.
For perspective:
5yr survival rates of cancers:
Thyroid 98%
Breast 90%
NHL: 72% 😳
Snapchat helped me get a preview of how I’ll look when I lose my hair in a few weeks...apparently it comes with faux freckles and full makeup! What do you think?! Ha!
My spirits are still good.. pain management improved with today’s session of chemo so that’s the best news! However, I am still accepting positive vibes! 🥰🙋♀️
