Journal entry by Jacque Francom

Our heads are bobbing in an ocean of information overload.  One thing leads to another and then another...and it doesn't seem to end.
Tomorrow starts Chemo. IF Chayten's kidneys do well tonight.  They are flooding him with fluids to make sure that his bladder is fully emptying and that his kidneys are not backing up with urine.  The uterers have been expanding and they shouldn't be.  If they are doing this tomorrow when they do ultrasound, Chayten will have drainage tubes put in both kidneys.  UGH.  Then chemo moves a day or 2.
He will start with a VDR chemo that is 48 hrs.  Then an IE chemo that is 5 days.  and repeat this process 4x i believe (paper is too far away)  They then will PET scan to see if the tumor is shrinking.     repeat this process until the tumor has shrunk down enough for the surgery i explained earlier.  We are looking at about a year!  It's gonna be hard, it's gonna be long, but he's a fighter.
We are swimming with how to make sure Carter is taken care of.  We don't want him without us for long periods of time.  It's not fair to him.  We are a family that sticks together.  Connor is close by and we will fly Chandler when he is ready.  Most likely during his break, which is thankfully long.
I am hoping we can find assistance to help us so that we can have Carter in a place with us.  FUCK YOU COVID!
Pray the diner sells quickly.
We love you all!
