My heart hurts for you and your family. I know God will be with you, going before, coming behind and at times carrying you through this unimaginable loss. You can be so proud of your son and for his fight and testimony. I know the Lord is. As you begin to face the holidays with your new normal, I pray the the Lord will guard your hearts and minds and fill you with his peace, love and strength as only He can. May God bless and comfort you and your family through this Thanksgiving and Christmas season.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my 20 year old daughter to leukemia after a two year battle. That was in 1996. In 2016 I lost my son after a year and half battle with throat and lung cancer. He was 43 years old. I know God had a purpose for calling them home but I still miss them and cry at some point daily. I will be praying for you and your family. God is good and will see us through our troubled days .

I've only seen your story on the news and then through mutual friends on Facebook, but cancer can affect anyone of us, and it just seems like it should never affect our babies. Chase's strength and positivity shine through in all of his pictures, and I know he gets that from his beautiful family. Please know that, in addition to your amazing support system, you also have numerous strangers out there praying for each of you.
