Charlie’s Story

Site created on April 7, 2020

Hello Family & Friends to the CaringBridge website set up for Charlie & his health journey!

We are using this place to keep family and friends updated in one place through Charlie’s recovery. It is a private site and a really good way to communicate with everyone on a regular basis. We love & trust this site and we want to be clear that we are not at all requesting donations to CaringBridge.  It’s just a wonderful way to have a place that is informative, caring, and supportive while Charlie is on his journey. To help Julie, Caitlin & Connor, we promise that we will keep an update here as soon as we know. With not accepting any guests due to the Coronavirus (COVID19), it has been incredibly difficult for all of them to not have your kind visits, face-to-face chats, kisses, help, goodies and hugs!

We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.  It’s amazing what the power of prayers and words can do!

Let’s go get this Charlie!! We’re here right with you!!!

Love,
♥️ Charlie and his fighting “angels” strong ♥️

TERRENCE L. JOHNSON FUNERAL SERVICE, P.A.
CHARLES EDWARD MORELAND, JR. "CHARLIE"

( May 04, 2020 )

CHARLES EDWARD MORELAND, JR. "CHARLIE" of Westminster, Maryland, on Monday, May 4, 2020, husband of Julie Kennedy and loving father of Caitlin and Connor Moreland and loving and devoted member of the Moreland family of southern Maryland, passed away due to his battle with nose and throat cancer, at the age of 51.

He lived in Westminster Maryland where he was employed at Sunbelt Rentals.

Charlie was proud of his time serving our country in the Air Force and serving the community at the Baltimore County Fire Department.

He had also been a member of the Freemasonry, the local American Legion, a baseball coach, a Raven football fan and would partake in any local fundraisers, activities and community events. He loved to golf, fish/crab, gardening, sports, cookouts, traveling, tailgating, games, friends and family.

Most importantly, Charlie loved being a Dad and a family man. He opened his home and his heart to everyone. To know him is to love him. In honor of Charlie, show your smile, love one another, laugh a lot and live your life to the fullest!

The family will have a Celebration of Life in the near future where we will honor and memorialize Charlie, “together”.
