Our hearts hurt for you all when Jeri shared with us what has been going on with your Charlie a couple of weeks ago. We began to pray for each of you, especially Charlie, and will continue. It is hard to understand sometimes why our children have to go through things like this, but we know that ultimately God is in control and He can make Charlie whole again, and this is what we are asking. My heart feels heavy with you as I read of these daily pains. You guys moved heaven and earth to get him help this semester, sacrificed so much and worked so hard. All of you did, including Charlie. I am sure it must be discouraging to see him continue to struggle even after all that. I feel the heaviness with you in this, asking persistently for God’s Spirit and for wisdom.
