Charles’s Story

Site created on December 7, 2017

Welcome to Elder Charles Ting's CaringBridge website. No, we are not asking for donations.  It's simply a website to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting and for your love and prayers. We pray that God will hear our pleas and show mercy upon his faithful servant.

“I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from His love. Death can’t, and life can’t. The angels won’t, and all the powers of hell itself cannot keep God’s love away. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, or where we are — high above the sky, or in the deepest ocean — nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ when he died for us” (Romans 8:38-39 TLB).

Journal entry by Henry Ting

EFCGA have been helping to collect written tributes, for this I am grateful. If you would like to contribute a fond memory to share with others, please email it to efcgausa-ad@efcga.org.  Thank you.

Many have been asking where to send flowers: I've been suggesting that they donate to "EFCGA" and write "Ting Taiwan Mission Foundation" or TTMF in lieu of flowers and gifts. This would be meaningful to my Dad and my Mom.

Lastly, it's been tiring and overwhelming this past week and half. There are so many legal issues and finance matters to settle in order to abide by my father's wishes and honor his last requests.

I am grateful for the support of my family (Alice, Erin, Ryan, uncles & aunties and cousins), office coworkers, church friends, EFCLA and EFCGA all helping to plan the memorial services.

Patients and caregivers love hearing from you; add a comment to show your support.
