Charles’s Story

Site created on November 6, 2020

On October 28, 2020 Charlie had surgery at Plano Heart Hospital to repair his tricuspid valve. There were complications and he had a bilateral stroke. (A stroke on both sides of the brain). We need your prayers for complete healing and strength while we deal with these issues.

It has been a while since I posted because there really wasn’t much of a change.  But today we had a very special day!!!  Charlie was able to put on his “regular clothes”!!!  (Arkansas shirt and golf shorts)!
The last time he did this was in October!!!  We went out and celebrated  at Lowe’s.  Plus, he was showing off his new walker.  All it needs now is a Razorback decal to make it official.
This continues to be a journey but we are so thankful for our friends at Heritage Ranch.  Charlie is in Out Patient Therapy and  goes to OT and PT for an hour each, three times a week.  Thankfully, his friends have volunteered to give up over three hours of their time to transport him each time.  Plus, our boys have been great!  They have been over to take care of my “honey do” lists).
Again, thank you for all your prayers.  We definitely feel your love and support!  ❤️❤️❤️
