Charles’s Story

My father was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer with mets to the liver on October 13th, 2017 , the same day my daughter was born. He’s had 18 cycles of chemotherapy and the chemo has stopped reacting at this point. His cancer team is in the process of choosing a different form of treatment which could potentially lead to clinical trials. Per my research clinical trials sometimes come with additional costs that’s not covered by insurance. My goal is to help raise money for continued treatment. My dad is only 43 years old and has a long life ahead of him and Im just trying to ensure that my family will have funds for continued treatment if needed. Any help you can give us very much appreciated. This cancer is the number 1 cancer that kills the most people every year and I’m not only trying to raise funds, I’m trying to spread awareness of this disease. My father has also opted to participate in cancer studies. His testing and results can possibly help someone else that may come in his shoes.
