We prayed in MOPS this morning for the Johnsons. You are not alone. We’ll be praying throughout the day.

First of all, please know I am SO SORRY that you find your son & your family in this terrifying situation, Lisa. I know there are no words sufficient to heal your broken and terrified hearts, but I am joining the throng of those praying for Chandler’s complete and miraculous recovery, and I am also praying that you will know God’s presence WITH you like never before as you endure today and the daunting days ahead. God never promised us that life would be easy, as you know all too well by now, but we have His word that He will be WITH us always, come what may. I hope you and your family can find some measure of hope, comfort and strength in the promise of His “withness”. I pray specifically that Chandler’s surgery scheduled for 3 pm today will go smoothly and achieve a wildly successful outcome. (FYI, I don’t know you & your family, Lisa, but Kari Gossenberger Bodine is my 1st cousin and dear prayer partner & friend, and she has shared your story and requested prayer for Chandler and for all of you who love him so dearly. Rest assured it is my privilege to do so, and my love, thoughts & prayers will continue to be with you all.) 😢❤️🙏
