Hello everyone - this is Chad's brother here to give you a status update on his current situation.  Chad has Idiopathic Transverse Myelitis.  Basically, his spine stopped sending messages to his brain and he is paralyzed from the shoulders down.      

In terms of Chad's overall physical challenges and general condition, nothing has changed.  He is still paralyzed from the shoulders down.  After nearly 4 months in various hospitals Chad recently moved back home.  Friends and family helped make his home handicap accessible to the best of their ability.

Recently, Chad purchased a handicap accessible van.  He is currently not capable of driving it himself.  However, friends and family can in order to help get him out of the house and to various appointments.  Earlier this week he went to the State Fair with some family members.

Chad wanted me to thank everyone for all their love, well wishes, help and support.  He is very grateful to all of you.
