Robert, I’m so sorry that you’re having such a tough time; that the pain & grief are so overwhelming. It’s equal to the love you & Cathy shared with each other. There will be highs & lows. Be patient with yourself. Give yourself time for your heart to heal enough to see beauty in life again. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted”. Matthew 5:4. Jesus knew grief & will comfort you. I hope you get to enjoy some time in your RV. 😊
Robert, I pray for you every day. Everyone's grief is different. Everyone deals with their grief in their own way. Please be gentle with yourself. I Celebrate that God gave us Cathy for 63 years even though I miss her tremendously. Through Cathy, we got to know you - your love for your family, your love for Cathy and now your love for God.
