Castleman’s Story

Site created on February 14, 2019

Castleman and his twin brother (Kingston) we’re born two months premature on February 6th. Castleman has multiple issues that require major surgeries in the coming days, weeks and months on his brain, heart, and esophagus/stomach.

Journal entry by Blake Duncan

Today we had follow up appointments with Castleman’s cardiologist (Dr. Keller) and heart surgeon (Dr. Alsoufi) which required chest x-ray, echocardiogram, and EKG this morning before our consultations.  It was all good news today and Castleman no longer has to take Digoxin for his ❤️:). From a heart standpoint he’s doing well and no future surgeries needed as of now on his heart!  Happy 4th weekend!!
