CASSIE IS OFFICIALLY CANCER FREE!!!!
We have a few pictures to share the experience of the past week or so:
The first picture is the University of Iowa’s Kennick stadium. Cassie is standing in the children’s hospital where the kids can watch the football games from the hospital.
The second photo is the room we’ve been staying in at The Hope Lodge. It’s decorated with cards, lots of cards from so many caring loving friends and family that really brighten Cassie’s day!
“Nice Try Cancer” sweatshirt a good friend sent to celebrate Cassie being cancer free. So, of course we went to a close department store to have a quick photo shoot.
The fourth photo is Cassie opening some cards she received. She’s always so excited to get cards and have me hang them in her room. It’s quite apparent that she has many loving friends. She’s received cards everyday except one. The one day she didn’t get any cards was a Sunday. 😊
She truly has so many loving people texting her, sending her cards and zebra gifts every day and we’re all very thankful for her large network of friends. They’ve really helped to keep her spirits up.
We only have 4 more days here and are very ready to come home!!
