Thanks for the update - While mostly great news, the frustrations of daily headaches and lack of stamina have to be very frustrating for anyone to endure and push past...I hope the shunt adjustment brings him relief! Expressing himself musically, especially at this juncture seems like just the ticket - My Best to The Family!

Good news all around! We know how important vigilance is in the first few years, and that the amount of testing is annoying but it's always reassuring to know what's going on.
One day at a time is the only way to do this. You're all doing exceptionally well with this huge life adjustment.
And the idea of Casey filling the air with the music of Thelonious Monk is just beyond cool.

Casey - As you are finding out, recovery is a journey with the potential for lots of frustration. To counter some of the frustration, I want to share a little saying that I have told Jack and Sam all their lives - Patience IS the reward. Take care, man.
