I am so sorry that I will miss this celebration of my dear friend Caryl’s remarkable life. She taught me so much about courage, commitment, and expanding goals for social justice. Her tenacity was ferocious. I have missed her terribly.

Just thinking that this is the final formal celebration of Caryl's life. She will be celebrated by many for the rest of their lives.
