Life is good! - I was immediately struck by that proclamation, and concur that life can, indeed, be experienced as good, on the other side of tragedy. I marvel at the capacity of humankind to survive and thrive after trauma. I, too, remember declaring the same thing after healing from calamity. Though healing is a journey of vicissitudes, getting to the place of being able to say life is good is a sign of incredible recovery. God bless you all on this Mother’s Day weekend. 💕
The report does sound more encouraging. Leila don’t you have an Alberda cookbook? I hear there are lots of good recipes... well maybe not healthy but good. Continued prayers.
Thank you for the update. Happy to hear there was not a high setback. Amazing to care so much about a family I have never met. Prayers and Hugs continue!!!
Hi Chuck, Leila, Carter, Chase, Levi, Brittany and Erin,
Thank you for the update on Carter. Glad Carter is back home after spending several days in the hospital after his recent surgery. So glad to have some family there. You all work together as a team. So beautiful to see the great family bonding. Isn’t it interesting how going to the store is exciting? A trip out. Chuck so glad you are managing getter no more meals with the caterer. Creative thinking. Leila glad you are cooking too. Sometimes when I’m looking for something to make for dinner I google what I can make with ingredients in my house. I’ve gotten some good recipes doing that. Continued prayers coming your way. Love to you all.💕
