Thank you for the update. You have all been in my prayers. Carter's courage and determination are such an inspiration. Lelia, I know it must be so difficult to be separated from your son and husband at this time. Your family is one of strength and courage. Your last words made tears well up in my eyes as I contemplate this different Holy Week and Resurrection this year. My 90 year old mother still says, "If God brought you to it, He will bring you through it." We are all going to get through this together. Know that you are not alone. Peace.
Wonderful news about the medical appointments (even with the frustrating “non-essential” delays) and also about the fishing excursion! 😊 And thank you for sharing the music, too. ❤️
Leila, your words bring tears to my eyes and strength to my heart. Thank you and your husband Chuck and your whole family for the incredible testament you along with Carter are giving to the rest of us. Praying daily still!
Leila and Chuck-
Thank you so much for the new update. I look forward to hearing your words, as painful as they are sometimes, but am encouraged each time by your whole family’s perseverance. I have 4 boys of my own (Glenn Grosshanten is one of them) and can imagine the emotions that you have been going through. I so appreciate your honesty and revealing your darkest times. Although I have met Carter briefly a few times at Truthpoint, I feel as though I have gotten to know him some through your postings. He has a special spirit, I believe similar so my son, Glenn. I continue to pray for you all and for Carter’s continued healing. Thank you again for your willingness to share your experiences.

I get such reassurance and strength from all of your experiences and unbridled messages of hope. Praying daily for Carter’s healing and comfort for the entire Viss family. God Bless you all.
