Thank you for the update. You all don’t know me, but your post about Carter is priceless. I will pray for your sweet son. God isn’t finished with him yet!! And your light hearted-ness will go along way (about your stay at the hospital.) ❤️

Carter has been heavy on our hearts and we continue to pray for him each day and for you and Leila as well. As we have been thinking about Advent and this season of waiting and hope, our family has been continually reminded of Carter and your family - we pray for the Light that shines in the darkness to be especially bright, for continued hope and healing, and for the peace of Christ over you all.

So incredible how strong Carter is. Now that surgeries are being done and hearing what structural damage there was you can really see how God was protecting him from anything worse. Continued prayers on this road of recovery!

Greetings, last evening at 5:45 p.m. just as the sun was setting and before the start of the LMC (Loggerhead Marinelife Center) Holiday Party, around 25+ LMCers stood in a circle on Carlin Beach with the beautiful sound of the ocean in the background to wish Carter well as a group.
I led people in a Lovingkindness meditation where we quietly sent Carter the following well wishes (people could also create their own phrases)...
Carter may you be safe and protected on your healing journey
Carter may your body and mind be healthy and strong
Carter may you be peaceful and calm in the days ahead
Carter may you know compassion from those who are caring for you
Lovingkindness is a quality we all have and there was strength in sending collective wishes of wellness to Carter. Many people thanked me for giving them the opportunity to come together for Carter, and his family, in this way. It was a beautiful and heartfelt gathering.
Then, we had a fabulously fun party where many of us donned #CarterStrong shirts, sent messages through videos and photos, and danced as I am certain Carter would have wanted us to do. We missed him so much but know he is on his way to healing and, we send much love to him and his family and close friends.
Peaceful moments,
Roz Grossman (Wednesday LMC Education Docent)
