Amazing, it brings tears to my eyes as i read this. Carter you are an amazing young man. Yes you are young😊. What a testimony to God's provision in time of tragic accidents. You are surrounded by medical staff, friends and family that are all in God's hands. You are loved. You are strong. Take baby steps now. One day at time.
Chuck, Leila, Chase, Brittany and Levi our love and prayers are with all of you. You too are loved. You are strong and will come through this stronger than before.

Hi Leila & family - We are still totally amazed at the miracles of friendship and recovery that you have shared with us each day!! Perhaps in life's "darkest hour" we see (in a way as never before) the greatness of God's love and the very "miracles" of life! Thank you for sharing these miracles with us!!!! I know you have a lot of close friends in Denver, but please let us be of any assistance we can be for you on the Denver end. We continue to hold you and your family in prayer -- with lots of gratitude and lots of eager anticipation of the miracles yet to be revealed!!! Blessings in Christ ~ Neal Wegener & Steve Fiess

Thank you both for these daily update on our friend and brother. We all want to go see him and tell him how awful we feel and how can we help. These updates make us feel more in control and less helpless as Carter fights to get to his new normal. I now know where Carter gets his compass from. You did an amazing job with him. Know that his family here will help in anyway possible.

It broke my heart when I heard the news in church Sunday. In some small, but similar ways, it took me back to my time in ER with GBS, ICU, pain as my nerves were being destroyed, IVs, medications, Doctors, Specialists, my lose of ability to move legs & arms over the next 4 months of time. The years of rehabilitation --the regaining of some nerves, (praise the Lord), the work to regain strength thru PT & OT to learn how to walk, how to use my hands and to strengthen my core muscles, to obtain my present condition some nearly 7 years later. The near total lose of my physical abilities to do the activities I once could do and enjoy, put me in a state of What Now and Who Am I Now. I CRIED FOR YOU ALL AND MY HEART ACHES. I thank you for your many prayers for me then and now I pray for Carter and all that are, and will be, there for him. God's hands of healing, comfort, and peace be with you all on this journey. Much Love to all, In Christ is our faith and hope. Wayne

Good to hear how so many people have stepped up to assist Carter during this critical time. We will pray that all of Carter's needs would continue to be met, trusting in the mercy and grace of our Lord Jesus.
