Out prayers go out to you. As you know we have sat in the ICU over the years praying for Nathan's life after a seizure. The fear of the unknown of what is to come is as difficult as the given day. Carter's event is devastating.. it is a blessing to see how God is there for you. You have been there for us over the years with Nathan, and for now we are sending our prays. Alex has so many fond memories of times with Carter and is very concerned. Thank you so much for your postings. It helps us feel connected. We will continue to pray. God bless all of you.

Thank you for keeping us in the loop on Carter’s progress! I am thinking and praying for him tirelessly. He has been a good friend to me and I’ll always cherish our past kayaking adventure, especially when I got entangled in a banana spider’s web and the spider crawled all over me. After I stopped screaming (no joke), Carter picked the spider up with a stick and we stood there admiring the rather large yet docile creature before carefully placing him back in the nearest tree. Carter has such a patient and gentle soul and we enjoyed being out in nature that day (although uncomfortable as we were asked to keep our life vests on in case our kayaks fell over in 2 feet of water lol). You might get a good laugh out of Carter when he’s feeling a little better with that memory.

Chuck and Leila,
weeping as I read of your experience over the last 4-5 days with Carter. I can only imagine the grief you all feel for Carter as he just starts to wake up and how you all have to start the process of coming to terms with his new situation and loss of function. Hoping his left wrist surgery goes well which I am assuming is going on right now. We will continue to pray for you all and that God will continue to show himself to you while you wait...

Ruth and I attend first service at SouthSub Chuch. You probably don't know us but we are praying daily for Carter. I have a morning prayer time, live on air, on KPOF radio. Listeners have been praying with us (no name mentioned just the situation). We'll keep praying and encourage listeners to do so as we follow Carter's progress.
