We are praying!! As men broke a hole in the roof to lay their friend at the feet of Jesus, we are doing that with Carter through our prayers!! And you as well!! When you cannot pray, know that we are there in the gap laying you at the feet of Jesus.

Leila, we live in Denver but have a second home in Palm Beach. We were at the beach shortly after the accident. We are heartbroken beyond words for Carter, you, your extended family and friends. We travel back and forth to Denver (I am going this week Tues to Sat) if we can bring anything back you may need. My husband plans to go the following week. Prayers and good thoughts coming your way.

I just landed at PBI Friday morning when I heard the news of this horrible tragedy. Carter is such a positive spirit, the entire LMC family is ready to help with anything needed on his road to recovery. Thoughts and prayers for strength to Carter and family during this difficult time.

Leila, Thank you so much for keeping Carter's many friends and loved ones up to date. I have no words to express how incredibly sad I feel. I am keeping Carter and all of you in my prayers for healing and strength, and prayers for his caregivers as well. I am a volunteer at LMC on Wednesdays. I work a full day and often have lunch with Carter in the volunteer lounge. He is an incredible young man, and I have enjoyed getting to know him over our quick lunch breaks. He is always happy, friendly, caring, and willing to help out in any way possible - whether it is doing something with the turtles or other site related tasks (I've even seen him clean out the volunteer refrigerator - believe me when I say that is not a fun task, but he never complains). My prayers continue for the difficult days ahead. Carter is much loved at LMC and we are all pulling for him.

Thank you for being so courageous in updating. We attend Truth Point and our hearts are heavy, yet praying right beside your family. My husband and I are boaters and this hits close to home how tragic this is. We are praying without ceasing for his physical recovery and for surgeries to go better than expected!
