Oh, Leila and Chuck, I am so thankful that there's no infection in Carter's legs and surgery can take place. Praise God! How difficult it must be to be a parent and watch your dear son in such a state in his hospital bed. Thank you for keeping us updated at SSCC. Jerry and I continue to pray for Carter and we lift you and your family up as well. Chuck we are especially keeping you close today as you cope with this tragedy. We shed tears along with you.

I'm an active member of the social media website ScubaBoard. I've posted the gofundme website that Levi set up. I hope the diving community will respond to the financial need.

Praying for Carter and all of your family. Even though you can not see all of us...Even though you might not know all of us... the Christian community is here and praying for you.

Leila,
I’m so happy to hear of the good news. I haven’t been able to remove this whole incident from my mind. As you know, I was there on the beach that day. I didn’t celebrate Thanksgiving that day as it didn’t feel right. I’m praying for your son and your family every day.
God bless,
Samantha

This morning in church we sang Living Hope; and although our church is Living Hope CRC in Abbotsford, B.C. It gives the true meaning of our Hope in our Father in Heaven. I am sure you know it Lilia, & if you haven’t listened to it lately, let it be your consideration today in this Season as you Hope the best for your dear Son Carter!! Love to you all💕🙏💖🙏💕

We sang "You Are Not Alone" for you today. I hope the message was felt.......you are all in our heartfelt prayers. SSCC sends Love, Prayers, and hugs extended around the hospital staff and all who are helping Cater. The great Physician and Healer is in charge....God.

Praying that Carter remains infection free, and that his pedal pulses stay strong so surgeries can be scheduled! Praying for you and Chuck as as you sit at Carter's bedside....agonizing hours, but so precious at the same time. Know that his hearing is intact, and your presence is known. Thank you for your vulnerability in your writing, Leila....use your Caring Bridge entries as the outpouring you need, and may it be a lifeline of support and healing for you at the same time. You have been plunged into a deep, long valley.....where God does some of His best work, even when we don't understand His ways. As you navigate this difficult path with and for Carter, know that we are praying constantly, allow yourselves to receive, and trust that He hears the cry of your heart. Hugs from Colorado!
