My heart goes out to Carter and your family. Praying for the best outcome possible! As an education docent at Loggerhead for nearly 5 years we ran into each other a lot. Such a kind soul and we occasionally had small talk and he was always smiling. All my best to you all during this time. ❤️🙏🏻

Allen and Colleen Horstman

Allen and I paused to lift up prayers on Carter's behalf after reading his post. We will continue to lift up many prayers to Jehovah-Rapha: The God Who Heals in the days ahead. We will also lift up prayers to Jehovah Shalom pleading for peace for all who love Carter and walk with him on this unexpected journey.

Remember that the community of saints is lifting up prayers on your behalf when you are too weary, confused, or angry to pray.

My brother and I went to school with Carter at PBA. He will continually be in our prayers on his and your journey. We don’t always know what God has planned and it’s not always fair but there will be good out of this and God will be glorified. He will never leave your side and will be there to comfort you.

Hoping all involved find strength. Carter is in our thoughts constantly. I have no doubt, he will be stronger and do great things. I am so sorry this tragedy occurred. My heart hurts. Godspeed to all.

Oh how we love you. Our entire family is home for Thanksgiving, and we all stopped what we were doing to join hands in the kitchen and pray. Many prayers in the dark of night as well.... “groaning” along with Jesus. You are not alone. 💞
