Will you forgive someone who just found your blog and is torn to shreds just reading this? I know I'm several months late and that you have already moved towards healing in a million different ways....for which I, too, am grateful. Prayers are so powerful. From you piano teaching friend with a son named Caldwell. I did not do a blog during our dark time, but oh, can I relate. Sending continued love and prayers for your family as your son journeys on with his beautiful bright smile that touches me so.

Leila, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you through this dark journey. What I know about you is that you are a strong person (I think your faith keeps you strong) and I think your son is a strong individual that is going to come through this and in the process bless the people who come in contact with him and your family. Somehow this is going to bless other people and touch lives.. just as people have supported you and your family. Prayers lifted for strength, wisdom, the doctors and nurses, family.... and peace.... much love .... Bob and Lisa Cattanach

Leila, your strength as a Mom and as a Christian are so very evident in your life. Even tho it’s hard to understand the “why,” to Carter’s accident, God is holding you in the palm of his hand. Also, the Holy Spirit prays for us with groaning too low to be heard, when we can’t pray for ourselves. Allow God’s healing power as the Great Physician to wash over all of you. I just keep hearing the song, The Same Power, in my head. I’ve cried some mama tears for you this morning. You are so very precious.

Leila, your father shared the story with us this morning, and our hearts ache for you and Chuck and your family. Know that prayers are going up from folks across the country (and around the world, too, it seems) on behalf of Carter. May you all be sustained by God's grace, and may his recovery be successful and completed in good time.

Praying for Carter today! Love you and praying your family has new strength each and every day. I’m expecting miracles for Carter. We know God CAN! ❤️ I can’t imagine the pain and wish I could give you a hug and all this would go away. One thing you can be sure is I will continue to pray!!!
