Sign In to Show Your SupportHi everyone!! I’m home!! I couldn’t wait to get on here and tell you all that I made it home.
Let me tell you, that place was not fun. I could hardly get any sleep, and every time I would fall asleep someone would come in and ask me to do something or make me take medicine or want to take my blood pressure. It was crazy!! I kept telling everyone to go away and no one would listen. Totally unfair.
My mom and dad kept telling me if I just was able to do certain things I could leave, and I would do them all and we were there forever! But I finally was able to get out of there! I had to have one last echo which looked great, and one last chest X-ray to make sure my lungs looked good and they did. The second the doctors said I could go home, my mom and dad started packing up and we were out of there so fast.
I have to wear this cord on my face and in my nose which is a huge bummer, and my mom and dad have to follow me around carrying this super heavy backpack. I keep telling them I can do it but then I try and wow that thing is heavy! So I have to stay pretty close to them when I’m playing otherwise I get stuck. Which is kind of funny :)
My mom and dad said alot of people were worried about me, and I didn’t know I had so many friends :). I can’t wait to meet you all! Thanks so much for thinking about me, I am so happy I’m feeling better and can’t wait until I can run fast and go to the park again. I’ll make sure to send you guys the pictures when that time comes! For now, I have to stay pretty calm and not get too crazy. My mom said in three weeks I can go to the pool! I can’t wait! I don’t know how long that is but I have my swimsuit and sunglasses ready whenever she says we’re going 🕶🌞.
Here’s a picture of me rolling out of the hospital yesterday. I was so happy to have all of the cords away from me and I could move my hands and legs however I wanted!
Talk soon everyone!
❤️ Carter
