Dear Carroll...today is Holy Thursday. It is the day I especially remember all the priests that I know and have worked with over the years. You are certainly in those prayers and in my heart today. Thank you for all of your support for me when I worked in East Africa, but especially for the support you gave me in Sudan. Some people didn't think I should go. You did and you made it happen. I hope that because of your support for me there are some improvements in the health care and lives of the people I was privileged to serve. Let them be your legacy.
