Carolyn and I were good friends in High school. We attended Lockyears together and have kept in touch off and on thru all the years. I want to say how sorry I am to hear of her passing but happy that she is no longer suffering. I know she put up a good fight. Sending prayers to her family.

Carolyn was a dear, special friend. We had known each other since the Heatons moved here in 1985.We were privileged to have shared many of life’s ups and downs.Carolyn was a caring, supportive person. She was clever and fun loving with an up beat outlook on life.Carolyn and Peter were very supportive parents who taught by example. No wonder Andrew and Amy are the smart, caring young people they are..I will always admire them for the love, support and care they gave their mother.Carolyn, rest in peace,my dear forever friend. My heart is broken. She was truly the most intelligent, well-rounded person with an outstanding sense of humor. I worked with her first at Liberty Corp then again at Furman. She and friend Raenae saw me through my tough medical times. I'm sorry she couldn't beat that deadly disease but am glad she is comfortable in the arms of our heavenly Father.

My love and prayers are with the Heaton family. I first knew Carolyn through her children at Greenville Middle School. She was a wonderful leader for the PTA. I later saw her at the Peace Center. I will never forget her beautiful smile and pleasant disposition.
Thank you for the love and care you gave her.

The world is a poorer place because Carolyn is gone from us. I know she fought a valiant fight, encouraged by her family.
