I offer prayers up for Carol and her family as she sustained me in the last few months. We also said goodbye to my dear brother Carmen of an undiagnosed Adult Brain Ependymoma. His suffering is over. They know the 'secret' now of everlasting joy. RIP.

Carol was a huge part of the inspiration for my returning to the Race for Hope every year as a volunteer. Her courage was unmistakable. No one who met her will forget her.

I don't think we'll ever know anyone with Carol's courage and character. She fought so hard and so valiantly and she always gave back. Carol was a gift and she will always be in our hearts.
