Welcome to our CaringBridge website for Carol McKinstry;  Mother,  Grandmother, Artist, all-around extraordinary person to all who know her well, or even peripherally.   Carol is in final stages of a long battle with cancer. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement, as well as prayers.  There is a GoFundMe medical healing fund for Carol; last updated in April.  As more hospice nursing care is needed, donations will be appreciated.  Carol has been in hospice care for a long time, allowing her to be at home and near her children and granddaughter, as is her wish.  Carol's children, other family members, and a caregiver team  are with her 24 hours a day, as she is weak and mostly bedridden. Thank you for visiting.

Moms celebration of life will be on June 30th 11:00 am at Woodlawn cemetery graveside service then 2:00 pm at the picknick shelter at moran state park for food laughter and sharing memories! All who knew and loved Carol are welcome! Please bring your favorite pie or cake to the park! Xo
