Sign In to Show Your SupportOne year ago today I rang the bell after three months of grueling chemotherapy. All I can remember is pressing through most of the known side effects while juggling work and taking care of mom. Then came the COVID-19 pandemic. What timing, I had to ring my bell virtually on a zoom call with all of my family and friends present! That didn’t matter to me because WE had something to celebrate. Yes WE because I was not in the fight of my life alone. I have said this many times, if it hadn’t been for ALL of you giving me constant prayers, encouragement, and pep talks, I don’t know how I would have gotten through it.
I was wondering why I was so happy today and remembered, I have a lot to be HAPPY and THANKFUL for. Through it all I’m a SURVIVOR. Yesterday, I received my last vaccination. (Pfizer-BioTech) and I feel great knowing that I have added protection against the deadly virus.
No matter what you’re going through, remember to ALWAYS put up a good FIGHT. Attack every single day like it’s your last and tell those around you that you love them and appreciate them because you never know what could happen.
Today my strength comes from Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.
Please continue to stay SAFE!!
